Ranger

1.800.356.1987

ranger_lg.jpg

Harold Vanderbilt's victory in RANGER over Sir Thomas Sopwith's ENDEAVOUR II (4-0) in 1937 marked the end of the J Class Cup boats. RANGER, designed by William Starling Burgess and a young Olin Stephens, is considered the greatest of all America's Cup defenders. The model's graceful hull is finely painted in a lustrous red and white and the planked deck is finished in natural wood with solid brass details.
